Namitha Kapoor was born on May 10, 1984 in Surat, India. Namitha is a popular South Indian actress appearing in mainly Tamil and Telugu movies. Her popularity is higher than Nayanthara and Shriya Saren at this moment. She is ready to expose if the story demands! This has helped her popularity among fans.
She started out by participating in the Femina Miss India Contest. She was crowned Miss Surat in 2000 and came fourth in the Miss India contest during the year 2001 along with Trisha Krishnan and Celina Jaitley, who was crowned Miss India Universe.
She has acted in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi & Malayalam films. She made her debut in the Telugu film Sontham. Subsequent to that, she became famous after the Tamil film Engal Anna opposite Vijayakanth. She starred in Tamil Film "Aai" the song "Arjuna Arjuna" along with Sarath Kumar, which ended up as a big hit. This movie dubbed in Hindi as Nayi Baazi (going to release very soon). Her screen name for the first two Telugu movies was Bhairavi. She has also appeared in an English film named Maya directed by Eric Manning.
